That said, I think that was part of the problem with many of Juddy's teams. The big in the middle often increased more playing around the perimeter rather than aggressive get to the rim, drive and pass, on offense and lead to some lazy defense at inopportune times.
Amber's team this year, without the starting 5 quality of the last 2 years, was far more consistently aggressive on defense. This next year she will have more offensive firepower plus athleticism and I am looking forward to seeing the aggression ratchet up again on defense and a huge jump on offense.
More shooters and movement will give Gustin more space to work on offense.
IMO, so much to look forward to. Very impressed with what Amber did with this years team. Go Cougars.
