Put us all on the plane. 5 minutes until we were supposed to take off, we get an announcement saying our flight was cancelled and we need to get off the plane. Apparently pilots didn’t show up. Wait in a long line to be told our 8pm flight would be delayed to 8am the following day.

Next day: all on the plane again ready to back away. Pilots are there. Announcement mechanical issues delayed 30 minutes.

Stuff happens, I get it. I don’t understand how they couldn’t know before we all boarded the plane the pilots were not coming. They were gracious enough though to comp us a room at a nearby hotel.

I will stick with Delta as my preferred airline.
