Option one reflects 30% of what I believe and Option 2 reflects 10% of what I believe.

So I pick option 1, who is still wrong, in my mind, 70% of the time.

Some blame is on the voters, I agree, but what Politician has done 100% of what they were going to do and 100% of what ALL of his supports wanted? none. I've voted for guys who after 5 months in office do boneheaded things that I never thought they would do, and its my fault for voting for them?

We vote in liars who rise to power due to exposure from biased media pushing an agenda decided by those already in power.

The 2 party system is even worse.
