TMobile just screwed me...
So back at the end of February I decided to take advantage of the Samsung S23 Ultra deal where I trade in my Samsung S21 Ultra, get a $1000 off of the Samsung S23 Ultra, and I was planning to just pay off the defense of $400. I figure I'm not ever going to get $1000 for my S21... might as well take this offer.

So I get the Samsung S23 Ultra on February 27th. On March 9th, I started to get an error on my phone that my SIM card was invalid. So I tried rebooting and removing the SIM card... nothing. So I take it down to a TMobile store. The guy installed 2 new SIM cards and could not get my phone to work and get rid of the SIM invalid message. So he calls customer support.

They tell him that my phones IMEI number has been blocked and they were looking into why. An hour later they tell me that my phone has been reported as stolen and I have to return the phone. Apparently the phone I received in the mail was apparently assigned to go to someone else, they didn't get it so they called TMobile and TMobile reported the phone as Stolen/Lost which automatically bricks the phone completely. So I spoke with Customer service and they told me on the 9th that they were mailing me out a new phone and I should get it in 5 business days.

7 Business days later I call up TMobile and talk with another agent because I haven't gotten my phone yet. He assures me that it's being delivered and I should get it by March 23rd. Nothing.

So I just got off the phone with them again... the girl I talked to told me that no phone has been ordered for me and they can no longer provide me with the offer that I originally ordered my phone under. Because I hadn't returned my Samsung S21 to them, they were going to charge me a $150 fee... she thankfully waved that. I still have the bricked Samsung S23 Ultra and she doesn't know what I'm supposed to do with it because there is no tracking label to provide to me to send it back. So she is going to call me back with what I should do.

At this point, I think I'm done with TMobile because they also upgraded to me the Magenta Max plan, but the person who upgraded me back in February, put me under some First Responders plan by accident, since I'm not a First Responder... the original price I was quoted on that plan, will not go up $60 and the rep I spoke with today couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. This has been a massive cluster... The girl I spoke with today I believe was the first time I have spoken with someone that was not in a call center overseas... that has been a big problem dealing with TMobile as well... not to go all merican' on this... every Tmobile rep I have spoken with over the phone massively struggled with the English language... why they are taking calls in which they have to speak English is beyond me.

So yeah... TMobile... awesome customer experience. Don't know who I am going to go with, left AT&T 6 years ago, don't know if I want to go back to them... but I also don't know if I want to go with Verizon either.
