Whittingham won't even acknowledge that BYU has a football program unless they're scheduled to play. I do believe the school and athletic department as a whole wanted to cut ties with BYU entirely when they moved to the Pac 12. Chris Hill would have cancelled the entire rivalry and never even speak about it again. I often wonder with people like him...he had first hand experience working with people at BYU. I wonder what it really is that he doesn't like.
