Sorry hitters don’t to switch to setters at the collegiate level and be successful unless they played setter in high school. Even That is a stretch IMO. Again top programs have their “dudes” selected when they are 16 or so.

Um…many of BYU’s outside hitters have been much shorter than 6’3”, and they actually won national championships.
