I much rather win a high scoring shoot-out (or lose one) than win a grind it out slug fest. What you don't want is an aggressive D that still gets beat all the time and your offense can't keep up and you end up on the losing side of a massive blowout. That's just demoralizing. But even with the less aggressive scheme of last year, that 2nd half of both Arkansas and Liberty games turned into nightmares.
