Daughter learned that one of her friend’s dad died in an avalanche
Crazy - she learned that he actually had an avalanche pack deployed but too much snow, 22-30 feet of snow to be exact, was too much.

He was at the dance competition we attended over the weekend watching his daughter dance just like I was—now gone.
