That is 100% true, but I'm still surprised there was enough snow for this kind of avalanche in the Oquirrhs. This is
literally the first time I've ever heard of an avalanche in that range. I'm sure they happen but it's not a common thing to hear.

It’s not lake mountain. It’s part of the Oquirrh range. Lots of the white stuff. “West of Utah lake” isn’t the best

One of the foothills above my house had a slide last week. That had only happened one other time that I remember - 90’s.
