I started out in geology, got my masters with an emphasis in hydrogeology, then went on to hydrology and water resources. Worked for 5 1/2 years for a consulting company in California helping clients with groundwater contamination issues and water supply projects. Then switched careers and now I work as a product manager for a company that manufactures instruments that measure water velocity and discharge in canals, rivers, and streams.
