I've got an uncle like this (not killing his wife crazy...). "Successful" estate planning lawyer who gambled away
EVERYTHING.
Had a good practice in Southern California for 40+ years. Just sold it last year for ~$500k. Took everything out to gamble. Bought a home for $400k in the 90s, worth over $2M when he sold it and had to PAY $150k.
Gambling is terrible.
