Telehealth, bro in law now dead because doc didn’t do a good job on it.
He had a virus pneumonia for a while, cough wouldn’t go away and some breathing issues. Next day lung collapses, they incubate, goes into organ failur they do ekmo? And 2 days later discover he is brain dead.
If he’d done an in person appointment, doc probably would have heard the wheezing in the lungs, seen the blue fingertips, and probably been able to save his life.
Like so many things with a video link, it seems we only give partial attention.

I've never heard people using Telehealth for serious medical issues until now. From the majority of anecdotes on CB.. (greatbam, Mar 30, 2023 at 4:35pm)
