with my uncle's estate. He passed away unexpectedly a few months ago. He was single and had no kids. He never got a will or trust, and now we are going through the process to get all of that stuff figured out. My dad just got approved by the courts to be the representative, and the whole thing is a huge headache.

Speaking of...I also need to at least get a will in place. My uncle's situation already reminded me that I need to do it, and now today was just another slap in the face reminder.
