I have to rotate from Zyrtec over to Allegra and then over to Claritin every few
years as I start developing a resistance. Currently using Claritin, and then if I need something extra on a particular day I'll use Zyrtec D as well. I found I have to use the brand name drugs as the generics will wear off after only 8-12 hours when they're supposed to be 24-hour.
