The likelihood is small. Unless he supplants the QB2, he'll probably get relegated to the practice squad midseason

Apparently, you don’t know how the practice squad works. He gets relegated to practice squad then any team can sign him

I do know how it works, and a player can only be claimed off another teams PS if the player isn't protected
