but beautiful scene the other day. Two young parents sitting next to an empty stroller at one corner of an intersection looking on earnestly as an adorable little girl, who couldn't have been more than three or four years old, wearing dark sunglasses and holding a tiny white cane, was standing at the other end of the crosswalk with an older lady, clearly her occupational therapist, being instructed on where the crosswalk button could be found, and I assume the chirp to listen for, etc.
I nearly cried for that beautiful little child, realizing the difficulties she'd face throughout her life. I admired her bravery, but realized that she'd develop that bravery by necessity.
If some day that little girl had the opportunity to see the world, it would be such a miracle.
