I was diagnosed in the 90s when it was first becoming mainstream while I was at
BYU.

When I called home to ask my parents about how I was as a kid, my mom said "Oh yeah. My uncle was a pediatrician when you were young and he told us about it all with you. But I didn't want you to know about it or have people treat you different because of it."

So, basically my brain wiring has been different from the beginning, but it always served me well until recently.
