He had such extreme PTSD from the vietnam war that he would have horrible and painful siezures frequently. Now he is a former bishop and devout mormon and would never try any drug or alcohol but he had tried literally everything already. All kinds of drugs and therapies. Then my brother in law, who also suffers from PTSD from desert storm, saw him having another seizure at a family reunion and rushed over and basically shoved a marijuana vaporizer into his mouth and made him inhale some. His seizure stop immediately.
He now carries marijuana on him at all times and calls it his magic wand. No longer lives in fear. His seizure frequency has decreased by leaps and bounds and now anytime he does happen to have an attack he just quickly grabs his vape pen and takes a drag and he is cured instantly.

so its not all bad.
