The coming of 6a and administration that liked sports helps
Everything about American fork was about the band for so long. Back in the late 2000s when teachers and coaches started getting replaced a bunch stood up in a meeting with admin saying that the school needed to be known for more than just the band.
The old admin got moved out and ones that helped athletics came in
