As one of the dozens in the US who was actually a fan of The The in HS,
it was pretty sweet to hear one of my favorite obscure songs in GotG3, This Is The Day:

Not a big fan of the Marvel movies, but now they’ve used 2 of my favorite obscure childhood songs, along with “Save It For Later” by The English Beat in one of the Spider-Man movies. Somebody over there has great taste in music.
