Utah’s success in football hasn’t been long lasting, but let’s look at 20 years
Wisconsin: 182 wins
Utah: 172 wins
Seasons finished ranked
Wisconsin: 13
Utah: 11
Similar styles with defense and strong run games. They aren’t the powerhouse team of their conference but are generally well respected for their toughness and can win the conference.
It’s definitely more modern history. But 20 years is a pretty reasonable amount of time for comparison.
* I subtracted the 4 and 3 win COVID seasons but you could give Wisky one more win than Utah in the total column.
