I mean, it's definitely true that I am at least somewhat jaded. I don't like the toxicity and viciousness of the rivalry; I don't think it is good for Utah (the state) or really for either team.

I am in the minority of fans who would like us to have only friendly, even-tempered rivalries. My ideal rivalry would be a gentlemanly, affectionate rivalry, one where the success of one wouldn't really feel like it diminished the other. It may be an impossible, unrealistic dream. However, it is clear that we will not have that with the UofU.

It seems clear to me that in this case, you are in the minority of people on CB. I don't share your desire for 'drama.'
