First, they are late to the game and it is likely two or three pac schools get in first.
Second, they don’t bring a new market.
Third, eastern schools in conference may worry about balance of power and push for an eastern addition.

I think B12’s long term interest is to get the four best schools it can to be a strong presence in central mountain and pacific time zones. Sure we will be sharing time slots with B1g but there is enough for both.

Who knows? Maybe Cal or Stanford makes a pitch. Maybe we get teams 3 and 4 at a discount or magically Oregon and UW appear (doubtful). I really want the Arizona schools as I live in Vegas.
