I love that there is parity. I understand why there is value in having a top blue blood program in a conference. But, at the same time, being in a conference run by 1 or 2 teams that can throw their weight around would be miserable. I hope the Big 12 can hold on to this identity of togetherness. I may be naive, but that parity will make the conference much more enjoyable to follow and will increase in popularity. I don’t understand how being a fan of 3/4 of the teams in the BIG and SEC would be fun.
