just waiting for the B1G to come calling before ultimately bailing, Utah takes in substantially less money than BYU for the next 3-5 years, Whitt retires, and Utah regresses to a 6-6 team or worse. They are much less attractive at that point, their fans continue to feel they are worthy of the B1G and start talking as big and bad as ever, and then the B1G scoops up OR, WA, Stanford, and Cal while the BIG12 grabs the Arizona schools along with a couple ACC schools such as VA and VA tech or North Carolina. Utah then rots in the MWC forever and ever.
