a line to get into the court house, I was on a jury, and a mini-lawyer that was probably 5'2", after waiting in a long line behind me for a good 5-10 minutes to get through the security and metal detector, out of the blue just starts yelling at me, that I cut in front of him in line and that I need to let him in front of me.
It caught me off guard at first as it came way out of left field, I had been standing in front of him in the line for several minutes and we were now only 2-3 people back from the metal detector, I looked at him in total bewilderment and said "what are you talking about?", and he must have sensed that this was his opportunity to bully himself in front of me with a weak reaction, and so he stepped real close to me and stares up at me and yells step aside!
At that point I sort of snapped into the reality of what was going on, I was over a foot taller than the little dude and could have easily broken him in half over my knee, so I returned his stare with my own death stare and did the lift your shoulders cobra flex and said, I have been in front of you in line for the last 10 minutes, I did not cut in front of you and I won't step aside.
At that point, the little man syndrome in him realized the bully attempt was fruitless and he turned away from me.
I figured he was probably late for something important, and if he would have just asked me nicely I would have let him in front of me in line because I wasn't in a hurry, but I wasn't going to let some 110 lbs mini-lawyer bully his way past me.
