Amazing breakout year for Rooks. He ran last two laps in 67 sec./64 sec. and was

not even breathing hard in the interview at the finish. He ran 8:17 a few weeks ago and finished 5th against world class pros.

Distance runners peak in their late 20s - early 30s so he has the potential for great improvement. Can't wait to see how he develops during his senior year.
