A humbled kid willing to take a BYU role over USC's bench
might be just the sorta "damaged goods" we want, though.
Who knows? Honestly, I hope the kid works out there. Cuz I'm a fan of his mom — & I don't consider him all that big a loss. He does some stuff very well, but he's not a sure-fire starter in the Big12, imo. Defensively, I see him as a pretty major project at that level.
