You have to consider the three fumbles behind the line of scrimmage, 2 he
lost and one he recovered. 26 yards deducted from his total yards. He really had 10 carries for 55 yards, 5.5 ypc. A few of those were first downs.
Also, a LB had to spy him, so it took him out of pass coverage most of the game. Helped in passing.

What does yesterday’s offensive production against Oklahoma suggest about our lack of production the previous 3 weeks?

We were getting a good push with our Oline.

That a heavy RPO scheme delays the reaction of the 2nd level

QB running threat is a big deal

Was 2.2 yds/carry a big threat?

Yes. Can you think of why that is?

Just saying, it's not the huge threat you seem to be making it out to be. Surprisingly, many here are still gushing

There is a reason that many schools consistently use the RPO over traditional

Except the success we had Saturday was due to Robbins running like a beast to the tune of 182 rushing yds @8.3 yds/carry

I would bet good money that Robinson would tell you a big part of his success

Slovis hardly turns the ball over at all. Recheck the stats.

I believe he has 8 total. This doesn't include the multiple times he fumbled

Also, I'd take those qb's as well. They had excellent o-line play. Schools still

Steve Young was the only BYU QB that could run the ball and not get injured a lot. One in a million type QB.

he broke several pretty big runs. that read option was killing it.

Yet he averaged a whopping 2.2 yds/carry. Huge threat.

Yeah I just love a 5-3 record as a starter vs an 0-3 record. It just sucks huh?

During the game, the sideline reporter had mentioned that OU coaches told him...
