I've started my movie sprint to watch Oscars nominated movies...
So far this week I've watched 20 days in Mariupol (doc), Bobi Wine (doc), and The Holdovers. I highly recommend all three.

20 days in Mariupol is not for the faint of heart. There's been a lot of propaganda from Russia about this war, but the scene that stood out to me from the movie was when a tank pointed its cannon at the middle of an apartment complex and shot. The level of trauma and destruction is so sad to watch, I just don't know why Russia invaded. I won't dive into the politics any further. I highly recommend the movie, and even though I haven't seen all the others, I imagine it's the frontrunner for best documentary.

If you're a Paul Giamatti fan, it doesn't get better than The Holdovers. Everything about the movie, from how it's filmed to the sets and the soundtrack, is all 1971. They captured it perfectly with an entertaining storyline.

I've got many more movies to watch, so let me know if you've seen one I should prioritize (don't say Barbie).
