There would be nothing to gain for Reid not getting over it. That is his star
tight end who helped him win the superbowl. If Kelce did that to a teacher or ref or if he wasn't a star if would be totally different.

I love Andy and this is not judging him. I would do the same thing if I were the super bowl winning coach and that was my star player. But Kelce's behavior was inappropriate and would be treated much differently under different circumstances. Reid getting over it does not mean it wasn't inappropriate. It means it was a pragmatic response to terrible behavior.
