… to if BYU stays in the rankings. Probably will IMO. Feel like the Cougs didn’t earn staying in the rankings, but so many other teams didn’t either
#25 OU lost twice and will drop out
#24 FAU will drop out (lost to KenPom sub 100 team)
#23 Indiana St lost twice after earning their first AP ranking since Larry Bird
#22 Kentucky had 2 good wins and will be back in top 15
#21 UVA went 1-1 with home loss to Pitt and an ugly 49-47 home win squeaker over Wake
#20 Wisconsin went 1-1 with home win over Ohio St and road loss to Iowa in OT… have now lost 5 of last 6 but still made committee’s initial top 16 projection before the Iowa loss. Will stay ranked for sure and may jump BYU
#19 BYU. We know
Everyone above BYU will likely stay ahead of BYU, with possible exception of #11 South Carolina who lost by 40 at Auburn and then lost at home to 13-13 LSU
Colorado St, SDSU and Texas Tech all likley will re-join the rankings… some likely above BYU.
Gonzaga, Washington St likely get in with big brands Florida & Mich St lurking…
I’d guess BYU in the 24-25 range and I wouldn’t be shocked if they drop out. Maybe the strong metrics (10 in net and 16 in KenPom) helps keep them in.
