So True Detective started off slow, but with some promise due to Jodie Foster and the cop with pierced cheeks (spoilers)
By episode 4 it got boring, episode 5 went off the rails, and episode 6 crashed and burned so hard that I don’t understand how HBO didn’t force rewrites and reshoots.
What a disaster. Season 2 was bad, but season 4 somehow managed to be worse.
