She was driving with some friends from BYU to Mexico, and the owner of the vehicle she was riding in had apparently forgotten about some ammunition (no gun) he had in his car. The Mexican authorities found the ammunition and arrested everyone in the car, including my sister. I think my sister spent the night handcuffed to a chair. Cost $12,000/person to extradite her, and since she never appeared in court, she can never go back to Mexico now.
