Nielsen’s TV data for January 2024 shows how Americans are watching TV. Pretty interesting.

A couple interesting notes here from the chart

- YouTube and Netflix are streaming kings, although I kinda think of them as separate categories. Look at the difference between Netflix and its competitors in Hulu, Prime Video, Disney +, etc.
- I’m surprised Prime Video is as high as it is.
- Apple TV+ must be minuscule to not even get a breakout. I wonder how long Apple can support this

-Streaming is huge, and growing. But broadcast + cable (aka traditional TV), which includes YTTV and Hulu Live, is still over 50% of TV viewing.
