Possibly an excellent use of rhetoric to maximize clicks. It is possible the author strategized getting more clicks on the article by witty and slightly pithy phrasing knowing full well that fans would click, rival fans might click, and those who seek offense for a word would also click, linking article to other message boards this increasing readership.

Regardless using Isaiah against someone whose view of why a sports article was titled this or that way is not just weird, but cringe and ridiculous.
