So many close shots missed all season. If you have an opening near the basket, if shoot right on the square going TOWARD the basket it is nearly impossible to stop. because - It is easy to slightly adjust, the rim protects on one side [the backboard is in the way as well as your off hand (if you go up with both arms)], and once the ball touches the backboard it becomes goal tending, & in my experience you still usually make the shot if you are fouled. Especially in the losses (including the game today) the team would miss 4-5 easy shots around the basket.
