Or at least they did under Clark. Part of that was Clark’s loyalty to Rex. Hard to fault him. I don’t think the new TE coach sees it that way because he’s reportedly playing a 17 year old true freshman in spring (basically 2nd string behind Hill).

But the other one you referenced hasn’t had much reported traction up the depth chart so maybe he’s just not that good. I wouldn’t assume too much as he’s been in the program for a year. BYU does have some bodies at the position and you can’t play everyone.
