I didn't know until a few years ago the two are different....
I've seen some recipes that look good for hare, I remember watching a KSL Outdoors episode where they battered and deep fried cottontails. Hank Shaw is THE guy when it comes to wild game cooking (even more so than Steve Rinella) and has some great recipes I like to use, but cooking this jackrabbit doesn't convince me. I'd need to taste it to really be sold.
