If the roads open, the road around the La Sal loop is really fun. There are places to hike, drive, and see all over,
but a lot of that depends on how far you are willing to drive (and hike) and over what type of terrain.
If you have a standard SUV or truck, going down Shafer Trail switchbacks in canyonlands and then drive back to Moab using the Potash road is awesome. When we visit Deadhorse/Canyonlands we like to drive up Long Canyon to get to DH, and down Shafer to get back to Moab.
