BYU kinda did that. People losing their seats had the opportunity to donate and

get to a priority they could retain their seats.
The situation is slightly different because BYU was long overdue for a reseating. The way it was, being a donor was actually a disadvantage when looking for EZ seats. It really needed to be reseated so that priority actually meant something again.
