Most of you are jumping on me because

1. I said I did door to door
2. I put the onus on you

Just because I did door to door doesn’t mean I’m on the side of the salesman. I’m a homeowner and it can be very annoying to answer the door and have to tell someone no repeatedly.

In our religion we are told to act and not to be acted upon. Some of you think because you put a no soliciting sign up you have been proactive. While that may deter some it doesn’t deter many.

So now- let me reiterate… when you answer the door full well knowing you’re upset, you are putting both parties in a bad spot. All it’s going to do is rile you up. Why would you want that?

The irony is - many of you have knocked doors and no what it’s like to be on the other side. The other irony is , were it not for “ soliciting” our church would arguably not be what it is today.
