Lynn Archibald who coached at Utah and BYU. I’m sure there are those in here that know her, but with her family ties and raising her family here I don’t see her wanting to leave.

You play in the best basketball conference in college hoop. Yes there are some challenges in getting certain recruits to commit due to the Honor Code, but that doesn’t bother Pope IMO. He wants players who want to be at BYU and influence their lives for the better, not just basketball.

Case in point Marcus Adams. Sucks he left, but we understand why. The year he spent here is going to have a lifelong impact on him. He has brothers and second parent figures for life (coaches and spouses). Way more important than basketball and I think that matters to Pope and his family more than extra money.
