Clearly he’s got a long ways to go, but I think he’ll be an nba rotational player, at least.
He’s 20 years old and has some developmental ahead of him. He could develop into more if he learns to shoot mid 30% from the nba distance. Right now teams basically leave him open because he can’t shoot well enough. I hear they’ve been tweaking his shot mechanics because his shot was too flat which as a 20 year old rookie isn’t conducive to shooting a good percentage. Give him a summer of work but the book won’t be written on him for a few years.
I’m personally more worried about Keyonte. For starting the year so promising he looks terrible the past month. Maybe some of it is fatigue but he didn’t particularly shoot good percentages in college either. He looks defeated. I do believe he is a hard worker so hopefully he can regroup in the offseason.
