still one week left of MPSF play even though BYU is off next weekend. USC is currently in 6th one game behind Stanford and USC plays 2 at Stanford to end the season. So if they split or if Stanford wins 2, then USC stays at 6th. Only if USC wins two would USC leap Stanford and Stanford would fall to 6th.

BYU is 7-5 and has two game lead over Pepperdine who is 5-5. But BYU has two head-to-head wins over Pepperdine, so I believe has the tiebreaker. So I think BYU is locked into 3rd now.

UCLA swept GCU this weekend so UCLA jumps to first and GCU falls to second. That means GCU instead of UCLA would now be on BYU's side of the bracket. GCU as the 2 seed gets a first round matchup against Concordia who is 0-10 in conference, so a very likely GCU first round win there. So if BYU can get past their first round matchup, they very likely have a semifinal matchup against Grand Canyon.very
