This is what I did last year
My son is a Nationals fan and we went on a whim when we were passing through. We ended up getting club level tickets behind home plate for the same price as the outfield. They were great seats completely in the shade.

No. It’s a great stadium in a revitalized part of town. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy access from the metro

They will be so bad that tickets will be cheap. You will be able to sit anywhere

It was the first ballpark where I walked in to center field instead of home

No cheap seats are fine. But wait till close to game time and buy on secondary
