The opposing attorney sent a nastigram YESTERDAY accusing us of failure to pay rent.
We have used bill pay successfully and without issues for three years.
I had a pre-planned visit with the property manager today and so I inquired how it’s possible that they lose the rent check?! They responded, “what do you mean? We got the check yesterday!”
Property manager seemed oblivious to nastigram sent by the attorney.
So, problem solved. But we will be moving to the payment portal that the property manager just implemented this year!
