Many things have been happening for several years to destroy my fandom and it just gets worse every year. If we're just picking up random players every year and have a new team every year ... what is there really to cheer for? Players no longer represent a university in any meaningful way whatsoever. Easy transfers, NIL, losing traditional conferences and rivalries, a handful of other things ... it's all making college sports suck bad and pretty boring and meaningless. Also, I'm getting old, I'm sure that's not related, though.

It's not just being a BYU fan that sucks, being a fan of any college team sucks. It's pro sports now, or at least semi pro ... and it's stupid. I won't pay money for any of this nonsense.
