We recently moved into a home with a pool and I’m curious what to expect regarding pool temp as the weather changes.

How much does the pool temp go up from day to day. For example, if there is cool weather then a random day or two of hot weather will the pool temp be significantly warmer on the hot days?

Do the overnight temperatures matter more than the day temps? Is the pool cold again in the morning if there is a very hot day followed by a very cold night? How many days of hot weather are needed to warm the pool?
