The lake was in bad, bad shape before the great water years of last year and
this year. It still has a long way to go. Large areas that used to be covered in water have been dry for years. There are serious ecological and environmental impacts that can result. It is an issue worth focusing on. If we didn't have the last two great water years, the lake would be in serious trouble.
